2013 Ford Taurus Review



The new Ford Taurus delivers more of what customers want large sedan for model year 2013 - with fuel economy, better, technology, sophistication of design, craftsmanship improved driving dynamics and more.

Green, but powerful

New engine range offers greater fuel efficiency without compromising the answer they want.

Ford Taurus is Ford's first car in North America Last-advanced 2.0-liter EcoBoost ™ engine that combines turbocharging with direct petrol injection. It is expected to provide best-in-class highway fuel economy of at least 31 mpg. Provides plenty of power, 2.0-liter EcoBoost produces about 237 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque.

The standard Ford Taurus 3.5-liter V6 should provide unsurpassed fuel efficiency among competitors in the segment V6 produces 290 horsepower expected even greater performance.

This is done by adding each variable camshaft timing independent (Ti-VCT) to help reduce fuel consumption while delivering 27 more horsepower and reduce emissions of gas-side and greater responsiveness.
